Migration to Exchange Online

Exchange Online provides Show Racism the Red Card  better file management, emails and collaboration

Show Racism the Red Card is an anti-racism educational charity. They aim to combat racism through enabling role models, who are predominately but not exclusively footballers, to present an anti-racist message to young people and others.

Objective

To support the charity with migrating all user- and shared- mailboxes from their POP3 email setup to Exchange Online, so that users have easy access to their mailboxes and calendars from anywhere.

Solution

We worked with Show Racism the Red Card’s IT Admin to gather information on the number of and type of mailboxes as well as access details. From there, the Office 365 domain, users and shared mailboxes were set up. This included setting up access permissions so only the relevant people have access to the data. We migrated 30 mailboxes to Exchange Online and provided a handover to the in-house IT team on how to manage the solution going forward.

Outcomes

The fully integrated solution, Exchange Online, enables file management, emails and collaboration. Show Racism the Red Card has benefited from quicker communications, reduced spam and the knowledge that their emails, calendars and data are backed up securely.

“Cloud Know How were excellent throughout the migration of our emails and the setting up of the Cloud Exchange. A number of discussions took place prior to setting the objectives and there was clear communication throughout the process and the project was completed within the agreed timeframe.”
