Cloud Platform and Licensing support

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a team that helps businesses make the most of the latest technologies and move to the cloud (think Azure, M365 and AWS etc.). We cover all aspects from designing cloud-based infrastructures solutions though to building technical architecture in the cloud. We’re also creating new cutting-edge packaged services. Your role will support customers in the use of the cloud delivery platforms for self-service and cost management. Providing demonstrations and training on the platforms to end customers and partners. Assisting in resolving any errors on the platform, liaising with the platform vendor and publishers where required. Providing licensing advice on Microsoft products. A high attention to detail and problem-solving mindset is required for this role.

About you

  • You will have a least five GCSE level 4/grade C (or equivalent) and above including Maths and English. Essential requirements are:

Cloud and Infrastructure M365 Solutions Engineer

Your role will range from migrating customer infrastructure environments into the cloud, to being a technical resource from which to assist and advise customers on adopting the best cloud solution for them. You will be in charge of your own workload and will be responsible for planning, documenting, implementing and delivering projects for our customers.

About you

What we’re looking for:

  • Demonstrable experience deploying and supporting architecting, fault-finding, and deploying various Microsoft 365 solutions including but not limited to:
    • Exchange
    • Teams
    • Endpoint Manager
    • SharePoint
    • OneDrive
    • Security and Compliance
  • Experience in migrating the following aspects into M365 from various environments, such as on-prem Exchange, Google Workspace, and between M365 tenants:
    • Email / Calendar / Contacts
    • SharePoint / OneDrive
    • Teams
  • Experience of team leadership and management
  • Familiarity with Active Directory, AD Connect, and Azure AD
  • Familiarity with cloud and/or on-premises infrastructure
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills
  • Relevant industry certifications (ideally, Microsoft 365 Certified: Enterprise Administrator Expert). This means you hold one of the following certifications:
    • Microsoft 365 Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate (MD-100, MD-101)
    • Microsoft 365 Certified: Security Administrator Associate (MS-500)
    • Microsoft 365 Certified: Messaging Administrator Associate (MS-203)
    • Microsoft 365 Certified: Teams Administrator Associate (MS-700)
    • Microsoft Certified: Identity and Access Administrator Associate (SC-300)
  • This means you have passed the following two exams:
    • Microsoft 365 Identity and Services (MS-100)
    • Microsoft 365 Mobility and Security (MS-101)
  • Someone with a passion for new technology who is always willing to learn new areas and keep their skills up to date

Salary DOE – £45,000 per year

Cloud and Infrastructure Solutions Engineer

We cover all aspects of technical professional services from migrations, designing infrastructure solutions, through to building technical architecture in the cloud. Full technical training will be given on all products, and you will receive full management support to allow you to learn and develop within the role.

Responsibilities

You will be primarily focused on ManageEngine suite of products, delivering installation, configuration, customisation and offer best practice advice to help the customer achieve the best results from this suite of products. Your role will range from pre-sales technical scoping calls to deployment of services, as well as being a technical resource from which to assist and advise customers on adopting the best cloud solution for them. You will be responsible for planning, documenting, implementing and delivering projects for our customers. You’ll work closely as part of an established team that will guide you in the ways of the cloud as well as benefit from a training programme that will ensure you’re accredited and successful.

About you

Ideally, you will have a technical background and have worked in software delivery or at least three years in infrastructure, experience in deploying infrastructure solutions or experiencing in managing a modern infrastructure.

To deliver ManageEngine’s solutions it will be helpful if you:

  • Have experience of Helpdesk solutions
  • Understanding of ITIL framework and best practices
  • Understanding of the Service Management Lifecycle
  • Experience of process implementation and improvement
  • Experience with configuring Service desk tools and products, for example: (ServiceNow, ZenDesk, Servicedesk plus)

Or

  • Have experience of ITSM solutions
  • Previous experience with patch management and ITSM solutions (Information technology service management)
  • Previous experience with MDM solutions (Mobile Device Management)
  • Knowledge of Endpoint management solutions

Or

Have experience of Active Directory best practices

  • Design and implementation
  • Administration
  • Auditing and Reporting
  • Security

  • Identity and Access management solutions, e.g. Azure AD#
  • Monitoring services, e.g. CloudWatch, Azure Monitor
  • Security services, e.g. Azure Defender
  • Desktop virtualisation services

Other skills we’re looking for:

  • Experience in the migration of workloads from on-premises to cloud, or between cloud environments
  • Experience of automation using scripting languages such as PowerShell, Python, Azure CLI, ARM templates, or other tools
  • An understanding of the principles of high availability and disaster recovery
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills
  • Someone with a passion for new technology who is always willing to learn new areas and keep their skills up to date

Microsoft Licensing Specialist

Responsibilities

You will use your knowledge of Microsoft licensing schemes and products to give advice on a variety of licensing scenarios to our customers, for both on-premise and online solutions. A key part of this role will be working closely with our account managers and solutions engineers to ensure we provide accurate information around how licences can be used. You will need to be self-managed in your learning to make sure you are up to date on any key licencing changes with a focus on Microsoft CSP.

Your role will include but is not limited to:

  • Assisting with Internal and customer emails around Microsoft products and their licensing
  • Customer focused with an emphasis on understanding the customer requirements and how Microsoft products fit together to provide a solution.
  • Work with account managers to open-up larger accounts and opportunities for CSP.
  • Support our Cloud Know How solutions team to identify and assist with licensing opportunities and help advise on solutions.
  • Attending customer meetings and conference calls, creating cost models, assisting in writing proposals, and creating and delivering presentations.

To be successful in this role you will be required to:

  • Have at least two years’ experience with a Large Account Reseller/LSP working with Microsoft Volume licencing schemes.
  • Understanding of Microsoft product licensing and agreements – particularly Enterprise Agreements, Select Plus/MPSA and CSP.
  • An understanding of Microsoft technologies.
  • A passion to learn about Microsoft cloud technologies and how these can align to organisation’s business strategy.
  • Keep up to date on new products and promotions for Microsoft products.
  • Software Asset Management experience/knowledge an advantage.

Salary: £30,000 depending on experience plus bonus
